Due to an implementation detail in this SoC, additional passive
electrical components are required to achieve the maximum rated speed
of the SD controller when paired with a High-Speed SD Card. Without
them, the clock frequency must be limited to 37.5 MHz for link stability.
Because the reference design does not contain these components, most
(derivative) boards do not have them either. To accommodate for that,
apply the frequency limit by default and delegate lifting it to the
odd boards that do contain the necessary onboard hardware.

The hwspinlock acquired via hwspin_lock_request_specific() is not
released on several error paths. This results in resource leakage
when probe fails.
Switch to devm_hwspin_lock_request_specific() to automatically
handle cleanup on probe failure. Remove the manual hwspin_lock_free()

Fix "gcc_sdcc2_apps_clk_src: rcg didn't update its configuration" during
boot. This happens due to the floor_ops tries to update the rcg
configuration even if the clock is not enabled.
The shared_floor_ops ensures that the RCG is safely parked and the new
parent configuration is cached in the parked_cfg when the clock is off.
Ensure to use the ops for the other SDCC clock instances as well.

In principle, it is possible to use nolibc for only some object files in
a program. In that case, the startup code in _start and _start_c is not
going to be used. Add the NOLIBC_NO_RUNTIME compile time option to
disable it entirely and also remove anything that depends on it.
Doing this avoids warnings from modpost for UML as the _start_c code
references the main function from the .init.text section while it is not

The ops.cpu_acquire/release() callbacks miss events under multiple conditions.
There are two distinct task dispatch gaps that can cause cpu_released flag
desynchronization:
1. balance-to-pick_task gap: This is what was originally reported. balance_scx()
can enqueue a task, but during consume_remote_task() when the rq lock is
released, a higher priority task can be enqueued and ultimately picked while
cpu_released remains false. This gap is closeable via RETRY_TASK handling.
2. ttwu-to-pick_task gap: ttwu() can directly dispatch a task to a CPU's local
DSQ. By the time the sched path runs on the target CPU, higher class tasks may
already be queued. In such cases, nothing on sched_ext side will be invoked,
and the only solution would be a hook invoked regardless of sched class, which
isn't desirable.
Rather than adding invasive core hooks, BPF schedulers can use generic BPF
mechanisms like tracepoints. From SCX scheduler's perspective, this is congruent
with other mechanisms it already uses and doesn't add further friction.
The main use case for cpu_release() was calling scx_bpf_reenqueue_local() when
a CPU gets preempted by a higher priority scheduling class. However, the old
scx_bpf_reenqueue_local() could only be called from cpu_release() context.
Add a new version of scx_bpf_reenqueue_local() that can be called from any
context by deferring the actual re-enqueue operation. This eliminates the need
for cpu_acquire/release() ops entirely. Schedulers can now use standard BPF
mechanisms like the sched_switch tracepoint to detect and handle CPU preemption.
Update scx_qmap to demonstrate the new approach using sched_switch instead of
cpu_release, with compat support for older kernels. Mark cpu_acquire/release()
as deprecated. The old scx_bpf_reenqueue_local() variant will be removed in
v6.23.

schedule_deferred() currently requires the rq lock to be held so that it can
use scheduler hooks for efficiency when available. However, there are cases
where deferred actions need to be scheduled from contexts that don't hold the
rq lock.
Split into schedule_deferred() which can be called from any context and just
queues irq_work, and schedule_deferred_locked() which requires the rq lock and
can optimize by using scheduler hooks when available. Update the existing call
site to use the _locked variant.

When the driver supports DMA, it enqueues four DMA descriptors per
substream before the substream is started. New descriptors are enqueued in
the DMA completion callback, and each time a new descriptor is queued, the
dma_buffer_pos is incremented.
During suspend, the DMA transactions are terminated. There might be cases
where the four extra enqueued DMA descriptors are not completed and are
instead canceled on suspend. However, the cancel operation does not take
into account that the dma_buffer_pos was already incremented.
Previously, the suspend code reinitialized dma_buffer_pos to zero, but this
is not always correct.
To avoid losing any audio periods during suspend/resume and to prevent
clip sound, save the completed DMA buffer position in the DMA callback and
reinitialize dma_buffer_pos on resume.

For some reason we endedup allocating sdw_stream_runtime for every cpu dai,
this has two issues.
1. we never set snd_soc_dai_set_stream for non soundwire dai, which
means there is no way that we can free this, resulting in memory leak
2. startup and shutdown callbacks can be called without
hw_params callback called. This combination results in memory leak
because machine driver sruntime array pointer is only set in hw_params
callback.
Fix this by
1. adding a helper function to get sdw_runtime for substream
which can be used by shutdown callback to get hold of sruntime to free.
2. only allocate sdw_runtime for soundwire dais.

Abstract out the btrfs-specific behavior of kicking off I/O on a number
of pages on an address_space into a well-defined helper.
Note: there is no kerneldoc comment for the new function because it is
not part of the public API.

In preparation for changing the filemap_fdatawrite_wbc API to not expose
the writeback_control to the callers, push the wbc declaration next to
the filemap_fdatawrite_wbc call and just pass the nr_to_write value to
start_delalloc_inodes.

ocfs2_journal_submit_inode_data_buffers
Use filemap_fdatawrite_range instead of opencoding the logic using
filemap_fdatawrite_wbc. There is a slight change in the conversion
as nr_to_write is now set to LONG_MAX instead of double the number
of the pages in the range. LONG_MAX is the usual nr_to_write for
WB_SYNC_ALL writeback, and the value expected by lower layers here.

Sequence adjustment may be required for FTP traffic with PASV/EPSV modes.
due to need to re-write packet payload (IP, port) on the ftp control
connection. This can require changes to the TCP length and expected
seq / ack_seq.
The easiest way to reproduce this issue is with PASV mode.
Example ruleset:
table inet ftp_nat {
ct helper ftp_helper {
type "ftp" protocol tcp
l3proto inet
}
chain prerouting {
type filter hook prerouting priority 0; policy accept;
tcp dport 21 ct state new ct helper set "ftp_helper"
}
}
table ip nat {
chain prerouting {
type nat hook prerouting priority -100; policy accept;
tcp dport 21 dnat ip prefix to ip daddr map {
192.168.100.1 : 192.168.13.2/32 }
}
chain postrouting {
type nat hook postrouting priority 100 ; policy accept;
tcp sport 21 snat ip prefix to ip saddr map {
192.168.13.2 : 192.168.100.1/32 }
}
}
Note that the ftp helper gets assigned *after* the dnat setup.
The inverse (nat after helper assign) is handled by an existing
check in nf_nat_setup_info() and will not show the problem.
Topoloy:
+-------------------+ +----------------------------------+
| FTP: 192.168.13.2 | <-> | NAT: 192.168.13.3, 192.168.100.1 |
+-------------------+ +----------------------------------+
|
+-----------------------+
| Client: 192.168.100.2 |
+-----------------------+
ftp nat changes do not work as expected in this case:
Connected to 192.168.100.1.

nft_connlimit_eval() reads priv->list->count to check if the connection
limit has been exceeded. This value is being read without a lock and can
be modified by a different process. Use READ_ONCE() for correctness.
